Groups 1-4 Presentation Reflection. Blog #2 Yamil Perez Jr

Group 1 Things that went well: Group 1 gave a really good presentation, and I enjoyed the way they delivered their information. Their approach to presenting the material was clear, engaging, and easy to follow. Each member seemed confident and well-prepared, which made the presentation flow smoothly from start to finish. I liked how they organized their points and presented their ideas in a way that kept the audience’s attention. It was evident that they had practiced and worked well together as a team. Their explanations were straightforward yet effective, and they communicated their topic with confidence. Overall, Group 1 did a great job sharing their information professionally and interestingly, making their presentation both enjoyable and informative to watch. Things to consider moving forward:  Although Group 1’s presentation was good overall, I believe there is always room for improvement. They did a solid job presenting their information, but I felt that they could ha...

Theme presentation blog

Sitting through all the group presentations the past couple weeks honestly felt like getting a crash course on how family, environment, education, healthcare, and even global politics are all connected. Since my group and I presented first, we were very nervous. Presenting so early also meant I could relax and actually take notes to the other groups afterward. Looking back, each group approached their theme from a totally different angle, but somehow everything still tied together. We put in a lot of effort into our part, so we enjoyed watching everyone else do the same. Our group focused on family and the environment , and starting off the presentations made me feel like we were setting the tone for the whole class. Our subtopics were pretty wide-ranging : we compared we went into the history of how family and the environment influenced each other , and we highlighted local and national organizations that support family well-being. What made our presentation feel personal and uni...

Blog Post #2v

Last week, my group and I gave a presentation on civil action and why it matters. Civil action plays an essential role in shaping the foundation of our communities and the policies that impact our daily lives. It tends to go way beyond just voting and debating; it’s about individuals and groups working together to create meaningful change and make their voices heard. In our recent group project, our group explored different aspects of civil action through the themes of families and environments, and how these areas connect to larger social and political issues. Our class was divided into smaller subtopics where we focused on specific areas and comparing perspectives on a local, national, and international levels. My group, led by Adriel Delgado, included Victoria R, Grace B, Meli S, Natalia L, Yamil P, and myself. Together we analyzed how civil action can influence both families and environmental concerns, while other groups examined different topics, such as educat...

Blog #2 Theme Presentations First Presentation The very first group to present was my own; G roup 4! Our assigned topics were Family and the Environment, two themes that might seem unrelated at first but actually share a deep and meaningful connection. I was genuinely proud of how my group came together to bring these ideas to life. My groupmates were full of energy and enthusiasm, which made the presentation not only educational but also really entertaining to watch. The way they interacted with the audience kept everyone engaged from start to finish, and I couldn’t help but smile while seeing how the editing tied everything together with humor and creativity. Unfortunately, some things didn’t go completely as planned. We faced a few obstacles that tested our teamwork and adaptability. Adriel unfortunately got sick right before our presentation, and to make matters worse, I lost internet connection and couldn’t present my section. Even though it was disappointing not to partici...
